ôOpen Source Business Modelsö Part 2: Jason Matusow, Evan Leibovich and Evan Bauer and questions with the full panel.
As he noted, Matusow has the dubious honor of representing Microsoft at an Open Source conference. Despite his title, focusing on `shared source`, his talk focused mainly on the legitimacy of proprietary models.

Leibovich of the Linux Professional Institute presents the reasons for considering Open Source Software in a business environment. He mentions the value of OS, the cost, interoperability and its ethical grounding.

Bauer, from the Robert Francis group, presents some findings from a recent study of investors and open source businesses. In addition to the price (typically free), Open Source efforts are typically easier for IT departments to implement, secure and service.
