ôEducation and Public Knowledge: Open Access, Open ContentöPart 2: Guylaine Beaudry, Mackenzie Smith, Jutta Treviranus and questions with the full panel.
Beaudry presents on the ╔rudit project, a Canadian archive for scholarly journals. Open access and open content drives this project in spirit and in practice. She addresses the practical and technical challenges of producing a completely open scholarly archive.

Smith addresses some of the projects currently under development at the Intellectual Commons at MIT Libraries. Particular emphasis is given to Dspace, her project for archiving digital objects.

Treviranus presents on the ideas of Open Source and their application to learning environments. She elaborates on the TILE project, a learning repository for educators.
